Starting from the end of March, a direct maritime line will be launched towards Chinese ports from the Ain Sokhna port, one of the main ones in the Suez Canal Exclusive Economic Zone. This was stated by Omar al Naghar, general director of the company that will operate the connection, according to the Egyptian newspaper "Youm 7".

The new connection line will be launched in collaboration with the Beijing government, reports the same source. From the Egyptian port to the Chinese ports it will take approximately 28 days of navigation. “Initially two connections per month are planned, while from June there will be one per month,” explained Al Naghar.

For the manager of the shipping company, "the transport line with China aims to increase connections due to the growth of the domestic market". The company has a total of 21 container ships.
